Do you have a complaint? Please read our brochure

The staff of the Health Centre Asylum Seekers [Gezondheidscentrum Asielzoekers or GC A] do their best to provide you with the best possible service. However, it may be that you have complaints about the services provided. We would like to know what it is you are dissatisfied about. This way, we can work to a solution together.

The value of your complaint
Your complaint will give us information about how we can improve our care to asylum seekers. In doing so, we ensure you that we treat your data confidentially. If you file a complaint, this will not affect your asylum application.

How do you express a complaint?
If you are dissatisfied about the care provided by the GC A, you may discuss a complaint with the care provider treating you. This will often be the quickest and best solution. Your care provider is open to hearing and answering your complaint.

How do you file a complaint in writing?
If you are unwilling or unable to discuss your complaint with your care provider, you may file a complaint in writing with the complaints coordinator of the GC A. After a confirmation of receipt, you will receive a substantive response to your complaint within three working weeks.

You can use the complaints form in Dutch and English to file your written complaint. This form is available in the waiting room. You can also send a letter or an e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

à Exception: complaints about transport
The GC A cannot handle any complaints about transport. If you have a complaint about transport, please use the complaints form that is available on www.rzasielzoekers.nl You can send this form to MCA in Wageningen.

Help with filing a complaint
Are you having trouble with filing a complaint? In that case, ask your family or those closest to you to help you. The COA or Refugee Council can also help you with this. The GC A finds it important that you can express your complaint independently of your care provider.

Unsatisfied? Independent Complaints Committee
If you are dissatisfied about the way your complaint has been handled by the complaints coordinator, you have the possibility to file a complaint with an independent complaints committee. This complaints committee is not connected to the GC A and gives a decision about whether or not a complaint is justified.
